New this year, reservations will be accepted for wheelchairs and electric scooters. (See below for reservation instructions.).A limited number of wheelchairs, children’s wagons and electric scooters will be available for walk-up customers on a first come first serve basis. Wheelchairs rent for $20 per day; electric scooters $45 per day & wagons are $15. Security deposit of a driver’s license is required for rentals. Cash, check, credit or debit cards are acceptable forms of payment. Wheelchairs, wagons and scooters must be returned 30 min before exhibits close. Rentals are handled by HomeTown Mobility of Hartley, Iowa. Approximately 20 electric scooters,12 wagons and 10 wheelchairs will be available each day.

Rental LOCATION will be just inside the 8th & Douglas entrance on the riverfront

It is strongly encouraged that patrons wishing to rent these mobility aids reserve them by calling HomeTown Mobility at 877-928-5388 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays). Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance and are limited to 2/3 of the units available so reserve early to be assured a unit. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund.
